Donald J. Trump: God's Anointed, America's Greatest President
(And I'm not even an evangelical!)

Dear President Elect Trump,
I am about as antithetical to an evangelical as a Christian can get, but I now believe the Mark Taylor prophecy: that you are God's anointed and that you will become America's greatest president.

Coming from my academic, systematic theology oriented Christian tradition (the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod), this is a challenge to accept, but the evidence is overwhelming, and Mr. Taylor's words ring true. Lutherans are pretty much the diametric opposite of evangelicals, who, upon their founding, made a deliberate move away from scholarship toward "spirituality," ie., emotion. Sadly, a recent survey found that today's evangelicals are less biblicaly literate than most non-Christian Americans ("We are an embarrassment to heretics everywhere").

In comparison, I was blessed to hail from the Lutheran tradition, an extremely rigorous branch of Christendom that demands high standards in scholarship and systematic theology. My Annapolis trained Old Testament prof had us write, from memory, a paragraph for each of the 39 books of the OT for our final, including dates of when it was written, audience, etc. From memory. 39 paragraphs. My son, double majoring in math and stats, and planning on becoming an actuary, is in the National Honor Society, as are most of his former Lutheran grade school classmates.

George Will (I know not your favorite), Mollie Hemingway and Dana Perino typify many Lutherans for their scholarship, intellect, and achievement.

But when I watched Mark Taylor on The Jim Bakker Show this week, it gave me chills (Jim Bakker is from Kevin's hometown, Muskegon, so he grew up watching his rise to fame). I generally am very cautious when I hear about modern day "prophecy," and virtually never believe it. But when I heard Mr. Taylor on the second day, I just couldn't deny it any longer. I looked up his entire prophecy, and the comments:

"If that's God, why the cheesy rhymes and misspellings?" one person wrote.

Perhaps God is using those things. To blind the arrogant who don't want to believe that you are His Anointed.

I excelled in my Theology and Christian Doctrine classes in college, I even did better than the pre-sem guys (men who go on to the seminary to become pastors), and I quote the Bible more than most pastors, and I can guarantee you I've had more theology training than just about all evangelical pastors, unless they've been to seminary, so I thought, how can this be true? I was taught that the prophetic office ended with Jesus, but this Mark Taylor guy, what he's saying seems so true!

Yesterday, I googled something like, "Is prophecy still for today?" and got an interesting answer. I can't recall the website, but it said something to the effect that the OFFICE of prophet was closed, but that doesn't mean God can't still speak through someone, to say something prophetic from them.

All I know is that Kevin and I have learned MUCH since we ventured into working in TV years ago, about spiritual warfare, things my church NEVER taught me, that I wouldn't even have believed MONTHS ago about angels, for one. So I'm just being cautious and weighing everything against what I've learned about Scripture, which, thanks to my church's systematic theological training, I've studied the entire Bible in a rigorous setting, and get a sense when something doesn't ring true.

So, President Elect Trump, if you're reading this, I wanted you to know that it's not only evangelicals, but some of us who have had A LOT of theology training, that are now having our eyes opened. And I just can't help but believe that you are God's anointed and that you will become America's greatest president:

1. Because George Will is wrong--you don't have an "inordinate need for approval." Rather, your DESIRE for approval will spur you to greater achievement, because you want people to love you.

2. You CLEARLY love people deeply, like that Pastor Daryl Scott from Cleveland said. Anyone with a bit of insight can see that you are not arrogant like the media portrays. So, your love for people in general will spur you to do whatever you can to make a win-win for all involved.

3. My former karate instructor, in the hall of fame before Chuck Norris, said bullies don't pick on people who fight back. China's not gonna' care that you spoke to Taiwan. Pakistan knows you'll "bomb 'em back to the stone age" if you have to. And Putin respects a REAL man. No one's gonna' mess with you because they know you're not fooling around.

4. And dear Ronnie, God rest his soul, who we all loved, was a great president, but he was an actor, not a business-man who knows how to get things done. So, you will be an even greater president than he.

All of your personal qualities show that you've been readied "for such a time as this." And with the great men of God that are close to you, they will be trustworthy servants to you and your family.

I am praying for the entire Trump family. As Lori Bakker said the other day, "Watch Eric Trump. You can really see God working in him." I've noticed it, too, in his public appearances, and am praying for your sons. They are great men, too.

Another New Yorker that would be an inspiration is John Ramirez, who was just voted one of the most influential Christians. Since you said on that recent interview, where the guy came into your home, that you originally wanted to make movies, John Ramirez has actually turned down several movie deals for his life story, he's that sincere in wanting it to be the right one, from God.

Like you, he is a very public target, and also fearless. Please don't fear those vile tweets. As Mr. Ramirez says, no death threats can touch him, because GOD is on his side. So, if you ever become afraid, his story will remind you that God is on your side, too, and will let nothing come near you:

"When they went from one nation to another,
From one kingdom to another people,
14 He permitted no one to do them wrong;
Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes,

Saying, 'Do not touch My anointed ones,'"

Angels VS The Flash Crossover Event

So we watched The Flash crossover event last night and laughed the whole time:

“Barry, we’re not going to follow you because you changed history, EVEN THOUGH ALIENS ARE ABOUT TO DESTROY THE EARTH.”
LAME.

“Do you like me? You know…LIKE me? Do you want to mate with me?!” Supergirl asks a man the night before, acting like a 12 year old girl.
LAME.

Hawkgirl, the only cool hero from Legends, and the only one who PHYSICALLY looks like something other than a human in a geeky costume, with her cool wings, wasn’t even on it.
LAME.

And they sent out a bunch of people with NO super powers, who just fight (Arrow’s team and the Legends blond and guy who worked with Freeze) to combat the aliens.
LAME.

WHILE keeping in the lab two of the COOLEST people with powers, Cicso and Kaitlyn Snow.
LAME.

And making Wally give in to his you-know-what of a sister, so HE, TOO, doesn’t use his powers until the end.
LAME.

And then the writers don’t even have enough guts to write Wally lines where he stands up to his dad and overbearing sis when they berate him for saving everyone.
SO LAME.

The whole time I was like, “C’mon, Wally! Stand up to that sister of yours! Don’t let her talk to you that way, she’s not your mom! You’re over 18, be a man!”

I said to Kevin, “This is so lame, they should make a realistic show about ANGELS, an angel could beat ANY superhero any day of the week. I mean, look at Supergirl, with her goofy purple costume, an angel is WAY more powerful than she is, and visually looks cooler, with the flaming sword, fiery wings, gold shoes, white clothes, and they’re all handsome. Beautiful, in a handsome way.”

Since an angel can kill 185,000 people in one night (per the Bible), that makes them way more powerful than Supergirl, and better looking, their look, visually, they’re perfect (since they never sinned), so all of them are gorgeous, no wrinkles, hooked noses, weak chins, etc. RULE NUMBER ONE OF TV: No one wants to look at an ugly face. So, all the angels would be blond, masculine, and handsome, in a perfect looking way.

Then, when The Curse of Oak Island came on afterward, I was like, “The first four minutes of this is better than the whole hour of The Flash, the whole two hours of The Flash and Supergirl combined!” I said, laughing. “All of the shows with angels make them out to be dirt-bags, like Supernatural, or that John Travolta movie and the Si-Fi show from last year where the 'angels' possess people, and try to kill humans. Or they make them femmes, like Touched by an Angel.”

Kevin’s first book, barthpenn@heaven.org, about an angelwas scouted by Hollywood, so he could write a show to do angels justice. Before H'wood looked at it we started to make an indie movie based on it, IMand were gaining some serious traction, the most we've ever had, people like Kenny Logins and the late Davy Jones, from The Monkees, volunteered to do angel voices.

But the devil took us out.

Gave us a distraction that played upon our weaknesses–a TV show produced by a Christian station, based on our kid’s characters–to tempt us that it would open doors.

But that was years ago and now God has taught us about spiritual warfare. He now fights our battles (“The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” - Exodus 14:14). That real angel show is coming and will teach the world what a piece of trash Satan is when you have the Lord Jesus Christ inside you. He is nothing but the slime from a slug under your shoe when the Omnipotent God lives in you.

“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.”Romans 16:20a

“For it is written:
‘As I live, says the LORD,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.’” – Romans 14:11 (emphasis added)

“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in Heaven, and of those on Earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” – Philippians 2:9-11 (emphasis added)

Christian Witchcraft

Christian Witchcraft

Kevin and I just watched an interesting guest on The Jim Bakker Show, Dr. Lance Wallnau, who just published a book about Donald Trump, God's Chaos Candidate. He was very intelligent, and talked about how witchcraft is fogging the mind's of believers, so I checked out his website, and he had an interesting description of "Christian Witchcraft."

He wrote:

It shouldn’t be a surprise that those who operate in a spirit of control are completely convinced of what they believe God wants to do. They do not walk with an awareness of how to judge their own flesh. When they pray, preach, or prophesy, there is an element of manipulation that flows out of them. People are praying, but they’re praying in a manipulative way rather than praying in the Holy Ghost.

What he said about Christian Witchcraft made me think, that's how many Christian leaders are talking about this election, portraying Trump as the salvation of America, so that terrified Christians believe that "saving America" is utmost in God's mind, rather than saving souls.

These same leaders say that this is End Times, that we are part of the End Times army, which we believe, but they fail to talk about what that means: that Jesus is coming again SOON, so we must try to help save as many people from Hell as possible!

I am only a humble church secretary, who loves more than anything and believes in serving and obeying her husband, but I pray during devotions at work FOR the persecution of the American Church, for it is only then that many will come to know just Who the God they serve is, and then, to become the Christian soldier they were created to be.

Dear Jesus, please reveal to those who love You dearly when they are being influenced by Christian witchcraft! When they are being manipulated by false shepherds that cause them to focus on politics and other worldly matters in these End Times, rather than what matters to You - the eternal salvation of those You died to save. In Your Name we pray! Amen!

You Can't Vote for Abortion and Call Yourself a Christian

I asked my boss, a pastor, yesterday, how do Christians justify voting for pro-abortion candidates?

He said they say they're not one issue voters.

GOD is a one-issue God.

"He doesn't care about our pocketbooks!" I said to the pastor, disgusted at the filthy hearts of those who go by the name of Christ. "He cares about saving babies!"

I thought about all the Catholics I know who vote for pro-choice (Democtrat) candidates, and I just don't know how they can live with themselves, it's disgusting. And all of the black churchgoers who don't miss Sunday services but feel it's perfectly alright to pull the donkey's tail. I honestly don't know how those people can live with themselves, but in the end, they'll have to stand before the One who TRIED to bring those children into the world, and give Him an account of each vote for death. I wouldn't wanna' be them.

Father Frank Pavone, of Priests for Live, has a great, short blog about it. He says the issue is not these wicked people taking communion, but in their very souls.

One of the times when my faith felt the MOST ALIVE was when I was marching in a pro-life rally in Ann Arbor. It was, cold, fall, at night, and we marched, and there were people shouting us down, and I was in college, and it was a surprise how hateful they were, but I've never felt so alive in standing up for Jesus.

“And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!" - Luke 12:4-5

Anyone voting for a pro-choice Democrat and calling themselves a Christian needs to remember these, God's very words.

"I Have to Spend 10 Hours in a Mosque"
9 Words No Parent Wants to Hear When They Drop Their Kid off at College

"I have to spend 10 hours in a mosque," our son told us yesterday.

We just dropped him off at college a week ago. Most parents wonder if their kid is gonna' go nuts when they have complete freedom. Will they still go to church? Will they get in with the partying crowd? Having to spend 10 hours in a mosque was not on my list of things I was concerned about for our son.

Stuck in an elevator 1 1/2 hours
He'd had a "crazy, amazing" first week:

"The amazing life of Jarod," my mom posted, when he said being stuck in an elevator for 1 1/2 hours just helped him get to know his new friends better.

You kinda' don't worry about someone who earns Student of the Year for Business/Entrepreneurship, because he took 11 business classes and didn't miss a day of high school.

Business/Entrepreneurship Student of the Year
Who two different teachers last year, at the beginning of his Senior year said, "his thinking is sophisticated beyond high school."

Who had Calculus 3 his first day of college yesterday, and is double majoring in Math/Statistics because he plans on being an Actuary.

And, most important, who went to church his first week on campus with one of two new guy friends that plan on becoming a pastor.

Who has always gotten extra protection from God, via miracles.

This mosque visit is part of some Honors' program he has to do where they have to visit other religions. He could have picked from a mosque, synagogue, or Buddhist temple. Non-Christian kids could also pick a Benedictine monastery.

Jarod has chosen the path of a warrior. The most difficult one.

It's the option I would have chosen. I've never been more proud of my son.

Because the Holy Ghost has taught Kevin and I about spiritual warfare the past couple of years, we have no fear about this. Jarod would not have chosen this unless the Holy Ghost had called him, so He will walk with him in those doors.

We can see it now:

The unclean spirits inside are furious when they see FIERCE angels invade their territory. Then in walks Jesus. Only it's not Jesus, but a bold young man in whom He shines so brightly through that He is all they see.

They are COWARDS before their Creator, and Jesus DOES NOT LET ANYONE NEAR HIS FAVORED BROTHER ("For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother." - Mark 3:35).

Evangelist John Ramirez had a contract with the unclean spirit over Islam before Jesus rescued him.

In one of his videos he says that Santeria is way more powerful than Islam, because it's a spiritual religion, but that the power he felt was NOTHING compared to when the Holy Ghost entered him.

Kevin and I are NOT afraid for Jarod because the Omnipotent GOD dwells within him. Woe to ANY unclean spirit that would dare to attack him--Jesus WILL NOT let that go unpunished.

And we know that the lost souls inside that building will see the light of Jesus. We pray they heed His call.

"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils...." - Mark 16:17

“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." - Matthew 18:18

"'You have put all things in subjection under his feet.' For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him." - Hebrews 2:8

France, Depression and Spiritual Warfare
(France, la Dépression et la Guerre Spirituelle)

Below, the same post is in French, for our brothers and sisters in Christ in France.
(Au bas du poteau, le même poste est en Français, pour mes frères et sœurs dans le Christ en France.)

So I've been wondering about all the recent attacks on France this past year what is going on there?
And it made me wonder if God is moving in France, and that these attacks are the devil trying to stop  it.

Here are some tips on spiritual warfare:

1.  Martin Luther said that a Christian should be cheerful at all times, if not he is being tempted by the devil.*

2.  What do you do when tempted by the devil? “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” -  James 4:7-8a

3. How do you resist the devil? Luther said to say something like, “I'm a Christian, I belong to Jesus, you go and accuse Him,” or, “You go and take it up with Him.”

What about the “fiery darts” of Ephesians 6? Luther said they are negative thoughts:

“From Scripture it is clear that the devil sends evil thoughts into the heart of a man and holds minds captive. However, he does not know all the thoughts of the pious until they come out into the open. For Christ is too strong for him. If he does not know what is in the heart of Christ, so he cannot penetrate into the souls of the pious, where Christ dwells. He shoots terrible thoughts into the heart: hatred of God, blasphemy, and despair. These are his fiery darts (Ephesians 6:16).”

How do you handle those fiery darts? Resist them, per James 4, and draw near to God.

- Also, in I Am Not Afraid, the Reverend Dr. Robert Bennett writes that out of the 80 case studies (it was the basis for his PhD. dissertation), all possessed people were delivered simply by believers saying over the person,

“I command you to depart in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth (“and return to the Abyss from whence you came!” they sometimes add)!”

Sometimes they have to say it repeatedly, but the person was freed every time: So, “in My name you will drive out demons,” and “whatever you bind on earth,” those verses are still for us today.

- For us, who are not possessed (Dr. Bennett said believers living their life for Jesus will be oppressed every day), say the same thing when depressed, or when you wake up in the middle of the night from a bad dream, or get that scary feeling that we've all had when we wake up in the middle of the night and feel that something is there.

- The only way you're going to know if it is spiritual warfare is if you say that (“I command you to depart in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!” If it is spiritual oppression, Jesus will help you. There won’t be ANY question in your mind because it is dramatic.

*Modern theologians say that Luther attributed everything to the devil, that he was superstitious. But back in the day he was considered an exorcist, whereas today's theologians don't always know how to handle these things, which is why sometimes Christians turn to “paranormal researchers” for help since not all pastors know how to handle the increasing demonic situations. So I tend to take Luther's advice considering that he translated the entire Bible.
